The Craven School Foundation is the data controller. We are a registered charity in England and Wales, number 529644, run by six unpaid trustees. Write to the Clerk at trustees@cravenschoolfoundation.org.uk.
This charity exists to support a primary school, so this comes first. We hold nothing about any individual pupil on this website, and we publish nothing. Grants to pupils in need are calculated from a list the school holds and are recorded in our minutes as a mechanism and a sum, never as a child, a family or a circumstance. There are no photographs of children on this site and there will not be.
The contact form sends your name, email address and message to the Clerk, and records that a message was sent. We keep it for as long as the matter is live and then for two years, so that we can answer questions about what was said. We use it only to reply to you.
A donation carries your name and address because Gift Aid cannot be claimed without them, and HM Revenue and Customs require us to keep the declaration for six years after the end of the tax year. Only the Honorary Treasurer sees who gave what. The accounts show totals, never names, and nor do the minutes.
We hold your name, contact details, vehicle and the dates booked, so that we know who is in the yard and can reach you. Booking records are kept for six years with the accounts, as the tax rules require.
We hold names, addresses, telephone numbers and dates of birth for our trustees and officers, as a charity must. None of it appears on any public page. The Charity Commission publishes trustees' names and redacts their dates of birth, and we publish no more than the regulator does.
One, and only if you sign in: a session cookie that remembers you are signed in and disappears when you close the browser. There is no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind.
You may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not obliged to keep it. Write to the Clerk. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the Information Commissioner at ico.org.uk.
